Had lunch at this beautifully located winery. Friendly service, good food and great wines. But best of all is the stunning view...wow! When we were there it was a bit rainy, so we have a good reason to come back on a bright sunny day!

The view and food was delicious! I can't give the wine a 10 because of the service. We ordered the wine that they recommended to go with the dishes, but we just received the glass and did not get to see the bottle, so I am not sure what I drank. Also I felt like they were rushing us to finish our meal. Even though I found the service not that great I would still recommend people going here, the view was beautiful, food was SO GOOD and even though I did not know what I was drinking - it was amazing! And the staff were perhaps fast but they were really nice and friendly.

The restaurant opened in June 2016, and the venue will offer a ‘casual fine dining’ restaurant and a wine tasting centre that will showcase Idiom’s flagship blends, signature Italian varietal wines and rare, limited release 900 Series wines. Explore the ‘Cape Idiom’ of the great wine regions of the world, while taking in architecture, views, Italian-inspired restaurant and deli with olive oil & balsamic degustation, pizza & picnics. The family-friendly venue will offer in 2017 a selection of Fynbos Walks & Bike Trails and an Idiom Sensory Science Centre with a wine & perfume laboratory capturing the sensory profiles of the wines.
